Our note of caution and guidance

Spearfishing and free diving are extraordinary sports, accessible to most persons, but shall not be taken lightly.

Dessault America acknowledges that free diving is an extreme sport and the consequence of what would be an incident could turn into drama.
We believe in safety and responsible attitude. “The goal should not be to catch the bigger fish now, but to live longer to catch more of them!

For these reasons, Dessault America supports education, training, socialization and preach the following rules:

Rule No.1 Never free dive alone, employ direct supervision & safety which includes:
*One Up - One Down
*Wait 30 sec on surface supervising your partner
*Weight yourself for positive buoyancy on surface with exhalation
*Apply a minimum double bottom time for your subsequent surface intervals
(rules provided by Performance Freediving International)

Rule No.2
Learn with a dedicated free diving school
Rule No.3
Socialize and train with other sport adepts or join a spearfishing club
